Sept 8 2009  Moochie @ 25 Birthday Celeb @ Eastwood.

age 1month: mom dedicated you to the lord.age 5 months: we listen daily praise and worship at dzefm mom read to you bible stories for childrenage  0 as i opened my eyes at the recovery room,the nurse approached me and said.. “im sorry maam,your baby is not healthy” i cried and panicked,your papa said you survived..your heartbeat stopped then the doctors said you might be dead,after 2 mins you started crying and.a miracle baby indeed.age 1 yr & 9months: you could read and write simple sentences using letters and sounds you operated a V-tech laptop by yourself.age 3: you danced like a bouncing ball.kinder-senior: I was called to the principal’s office to stop you from gathering your classmates at the quadrangle telling them stories about Jesus Christ and why we should rejoice in the fact that he rose after three days for all our sins once and for all, reason why instead of being sad on lenten season we should be glad about what Jesus did for you and your class mates. You were so convicted about it that your teachers could not stop you from teaching your classmates about Jesus that did not match exactly what they taught. My hot spot: I had to politely tell your principal that they may do what the law allows them to do but I cannot teach you to tell a lie.grade 1: you wrote a story book, complete with drawings, about a frog.I was called to the guidance office again, this time for a permission to let you through another round of psychometrics, just so they can confirm your degree of giftedness, so far-highest in their records. I said no need. age 5-you joined the school’s Oratorical contest but sadly you did not win because of your  piece the 3 little kittens..age 6 : you were confined in the hospital because of asthma attack.but that did not stop you from joining sports contests and the like.you enrolled in a ballet class and you were the cutest & most graceful dancer.age 7: when we asked you what do you want for your 7th birthday,you said mama,i want to celebrate my birthday at jollibee with some of the kids of Hospicio whom you’ve been friends with.instead of keeping your relatives and ninong and ninang’s gifts you gave it to the kids.we were so proud of you and happy that we have an angel in our lives.age 8: you saved your kuya’s life by jumping into the swimming pool. and you were the youngest volunteer to go to Mt.Pinatubo.-the people in our village calls you ms.friendly because of your warm and endearing personality.you like to be outside and play pantintero,taguan and habulan with the other kids in our village.they called you little rascals.-you began composing songs and poems.age 9: you fell from the second floor of our house.you were confined and we thought we will lose you.after 4 weeks you were back to the old makulit kid.age 10 you were given the highest honor at school because of your exemplary scholastic record and being a member of the girl scout.age 14- you joined the World Youth Day and had the chance to speak with the Pope together with Assumption Sisters.age 15: you fell in love to marvin the sampaguita/flower/candle vendor outside the baclaran church. agaisnt all odds you fought for him.i can’t forget how devastated you are when she broke your heart.-you started teaching kids to read and write.- math-bee and medals were routine, new friends added to your ever-widening circle were always main event.age 16- went to South Africa with your bestfriend and stayed there for 6 months.age 17- On your birthmonth you got your license. One morning you called to tell me you are taking the vanette to school because you’ll be late if you’d wait for me to get you. In a few seconds I watched you from riverbanks racing along marcos bridge towards ateneo with the vanette. Don’t tell me you learned to drive by just watching me.age 18- After you debut just months after Papa passed.age 19- at a very young age of 19 you are the one in charge of our house,the budgeting,the groceries and how to handle your little sister loraine.age 20-you joined Gawad Kalinga and was sent to different parts of the country.-critical condition at Asian Medical Center for a month. (ANG DI GUMISING PANGET) sign was all over the room.-i think this is one of your darkest and lowest moments. but glad you bounced back you even had depression.age 21-you started planning the Angel bright school in Marikina.-went to guinsaugon st bernard leyte to help the landslide victims. and stayed there for 2 weeks.age 22- you started to explore and spread your wings a bit. you went out of the country without us knowing.Present:  Age 25 You went to that country alone with our blessings in order to somehow fullfill your dreams…You rang my phone just before you boarded One more thing I knew he mattered to you and so I asked before you went down from the car, “do you look you like him ” and you answered in a cracking voice, “yes, mama”. As I clicked the red phone icon I said to myself, “that is one brave Big Girl that I have there.” God is going to do great many projects through her ” …..I found myself in awe of God, then a sense of contentment …and gratitude….then, gladness…that even amidst tragedy you stood up and fought. and i would like to say with all of my heart that anak,you are a true warrior,a born fighter. you might be crying all the time but that’s good. We know that you are a survivor. you always live for the glory of GOD.thank you for giving your life to us for taking care of me and loraine.during our ups and downs you were still there. you carried the load in our family and i salute you for that. even if you got hurt you still chose to love again. and again. and trust again.i’m so proud of you anak for touching so many lives,for making them feel important,for being humble and kindhearted as you are. and i wish you more happiness and success,may he give you good health and long life. i am excited to carry another baby in our family. give me one soon. Happy Birthday anak and i love you so much-Josephine Gatmaitan

Yearbook write up: Mere words can’t simply describe this unique girl.she possesses that magnetic personality and innate ability to charm and even melt a stoic heart. She can keep you going for hours with a helpful dose of her infectious optimism and sense of humor.She has this distinct skill of amazing everybody with her multitude of talents and leaves one wondering wistlfully wheter she was born with a magic wand.name it,she can do it. Her eccentricity,wit,charisma and spiritual viewpoints make her standout among the rest. One can truly say that a day spet with this enchantress is like viewing the world through rose-colored glasses for a lifetime.
